STAR WARS

Gaming in the Galaxy
The Roleplaying Game (1987–1999)
Primary System

Before the Prequels, before the Expanded Universe novels exploded onto shelves, West End Games was quietly building the Star Wars galaxy one sourcebook at a time.

WEG didn't just create a roleplaying game — they created the foundation of Star Wars lore. They named the aliens in the Cantina, wrote the technical specs for Star Destroyers, and established the culture of dozens of worlds. Lucasfilm actually sent WEG sourcebooks to authors writing the new novels as reference material.

The D6 System is elegant in its simplicity: roll your attribute dice, add your skill dice, beat the difficulty number. Fast, cinematic, and perfect for capturing that swashbuckling Star Wars feel.

"Trust your feelings. Use the Force."
