The Robotech Masters

The Threat: Fifteen years after the defeat of the Zentraedi, their creators arrived. The Robotech Masters, a race obsessed with conformity and "Triumvirate" logic, descended upon Earth not to destroy it, but to recover the Protoculture Matrix hidden within the ruins of the SDF-1.

The Defense: With the SDF-3 away on a deep space mission, the defense of Earth fell to the Army of the Southern Cross (ASC). Lacking the massive Veritechs of the past, they relied on specialized battloids and the VHT-1 Hover Tank—an agile, transforming unit designed for urban and trench warfare.

The Legacy: Led by the rebellious Dana Sterling (daughter of Max and Miriya), the 15th Alpha Tactical Armored Corps fought a desperate war. It was a conflict of ideologies: the rigid order of the Masters versus the chaotic freedom of humanity. The war ended in a pyrrhic victory that scattered the spores of the Invid Flower of Life across the planet, summoning a far greater threat.
